Visited Penang’s SPCA today with my dear, we are both cats n dogs lovers but Steph is most fond of cats. We donated some money to the center and proceed to the cat’s cage. In there we were greeted by 2 extremely friendly cats. When i mean friendly, i mean they actually walk and jump on top of my leg when i squated and proceeded licking my shirt! LOL!

I’ve lost count how many times I went to SPCA to make a donation and spend a few minutes with the felines but every time when I went there, there’s always new members of cats. Sometimes it worries me what happen to the previous felines. Have they being put to sleep? or They’ve been adopted. It really hurts if i know any of the cats being put to sleep

Cats and dogs alike are a wonderful pets, while dogs can be the men’s best friend cats can be an excellent cheer leader. It really fun to play with cats there, they are not afraid of strangers at all. I can see in their eyes that they are very delighted and curious to see us. Too bad i have a grown dog in my house which isn’t a good idea to get a cat.

SPCA do take care of the cats alot, feeding them with vitamins from time to time. All the cats there are very clean and healthy. But all this requires a lot of money and most of SPCA’s funds come from the generosity of friendly Penangites. Hey.. SPCA is having a food fair this coming July 4th. So why not give those cats and dogs a chance to have a better life ^^ Visit SPCA Penang in Jelutong and purchase a ticket for the food fair for only RM10!
